TENDER INVITATION
“IMPRESSIVE TICKETS”
$10,000 available to help 78 individuals
The what:
This is a training subsidy project to assist the most disadvantaged individuals in the community gain the necessary ‘tickets’ to achieve employment.
The why:
Some people in the Limestone Coast, who have done the hard yards with study, are finding the completion of that study financially restrictive. Some jobseekers are also finding not having a particular ‘ticket’ is becoming a barrier to sustainable employment.
The how:
This initiative will provide financial assistance for individuals who have a funding gap in completing their studies; studies which will lead to employment. It will also subsidise the funding gap in gaining a ticket, licence, certificate or other document which will lead to employment.
The who:
Tender applications are invited from incorporated organisations, who have a local physical presence, to administer this project.
The when:
Application forms are available from the Project Officer for Employment and Training Programs at the Limestone Coast Regional Development Board Inc. Contact through 08 8723 1057 or via email at david@lcrdb.com. Requests will be accepted until close of business 29 January 2010.
This project is made possible through a partnership between the Limestone Coast Regional Development Board Inc and the South Australia Works in the Regions program, a Department for Further Education Employment Science and Technology initiative.
