I am happy to announce that we have awarded Uniting Care Wesley Port Adelaide to undertake the Life Skills Project.
This is Initiative 2: Life Skills and is outlined below. This project is for $20,000 to help 20 individuals.
Mature age, humanitarian migrants and adult early school leavers, who would otherwise be willing to engage in the labour market, limit themselves due to inadequate life skills. Well documented market intelligence identified barriers such as low self esteem, attitudinal slippage and personal deportment. This project will seek to identify and engage individuals in a structured, tailored program that overcomes those barriers and leads towards further engagement.
The contact person for this project is : Cherie Jolly on 0448 425 107 if you are interested in speaking with her about it.
